Manufacturer-Info Grand Prix Models are the model world's best-known model car specialists and one of the industry's pioneers. They were the first specialist model racing car shop in Europe, they opened the doors in Hertfordshire (UK) in 1972. It was a dual-purpose business; they started a motoring magazine and selling model cars in the shop. From that conclusion it was only a short step for GPM - as it became known - to start making its own models. Within a few years GPM had four ranges of models and over 200 kits available. During the Nineties, as worthwhile new model makers arrived they gave up building own models and kits. They had three different model-lines with Saabs: A ready-built one "Classic 43" and two kits "Dannini Modelli" / "G.P.M. Racing". Model-InfoGrand Prix Models – Dannini Modelli |
