Manufacturer-Info The Corgi brand was created by the Mettoy Company of Northampton which first started with pressed metal toys in the 1930s. The first Corgi models appeared in 1956 and covered British-built saloon cars of the period. During the years, they produced toycars, like the Saab 9000 and also collector-models, like the Saab 96. Model-InfoThis special 96 model (Standard, not Sport!) is one of the first Prototypes made in 1989. One year later, in December 1990, it was used for a price-giving of the "Collectors Gazette". There is also a blue one excisting. Does anybody know more about? |
